Job Summary: Regular full-time faculty members teach assigned classes in accordance with established guidelines and policies. Faculty participate in advising, committee assignments, and other academic and institutional support activities. SLTC utilizes a faculty model that includes tracking and reporting student progress and employment outcomes; student and community access; and employer engagement. Program coordinator responsibility may be assigned. This faculty appointment is for 12 months.

Minimum Qualifications: • Associates of Applied Science Nursing degree from an accredited college or university
• Licensed registered nurse in the state of Utah in good standing with DOPL
• Meet OBRA regulations and 2 years in a health care facility
• Approved or ability to teach by the Director of UNAR
• Professional teaching experience in related fields and/or industry
• Ability to apply field-related skills

Special Instructions: Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.**This is a 12-month appointment which includes full benefits, vacation/sick leave, holiday pay, and retirement contributions.Priority Review Date: February 9, 2024. All applications submitted by this date will receive priority review.Selected finalist will be required to participate in a teaching demonstration and will be asked to provide recommendation letters.This position is non-tenure track.SLCC HR Dept will conduct criminal background checks on the selected finalist.
