The Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and
Health Sciences at Molloy College seeks a full- time faculty member with an extensive clinical background as an adult-gerontology acute
nurse practitioner along with experience in, and enthusiasm for, teaching, curriculum development, student evaluation, program
assessment, service, and scholarship.


  • Teach courses,
    skills/physical assessment labs, simulation labs, and clinical practica in the adult gerontology Acute Care nurse practitioner specialty ,
    with flexibility to cross-teach in undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs based on background and expertise.
  • Coordinate and
    supervise clinical experiences
  • Mentor and advise graduate students
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement in the
    School of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Provide service to the College, School of Nursing and Health Sciences, profession and
  • Participate in scholarly activities that advance the profession
  • Support the mission, values and goals of the
    College and of the Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences
  • Other duties as required


  • Current, national certification as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner
  • Current licensure as an RN and as an AGACNP practitioner in New York State
  • Terminal degree (PhD, EdD, or
  • 5 years of recent experience as an acute care NP – preferred
  • Experience in nursing education and higher education –
  • Dual certification in more than one specialty – preferred
