Summary of Position

Keene State College invites applicants
for a Clinical Faculty position in the Nursing Program starting August 2022. The successful candidate will join a growing nursing department
whose mission is to educate future nurse leaders who provide high-quality and safe healthcare. We strongly encourage individuals to apply

patient care. The ideal candidates will have clinical and/or advanced nursing practice experience in medical-surgical nursing and must hold
or be eligible for a New Hampshire registered nurse license.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of growing a dynamic BSN
program. The program is fully approved by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and holds national accreditation from the Commission on
Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) until 2028. The curriculum is based on the Nurse of the Future concepts and the Essentials of
Baccalaureate Education competencies. The core nursing program begins with strong fundamentals of nursing course and includes each semester
learning experiences with direct patient care culminating in the final semester with a 180-hour preceptorship that helps graduates
transition to practice.

Responsibilities: teach undergraduate nursing courses full-time in the BSN program that incorporate current
theory and research. Clinical Faculty are expected to teach sixteen (16) credits per academic semester that include both didactic and
clinical instruction. Areas of responsibility include medical and surgical content with other teaching opportunities given based on the
faculty member's areas of expertise. Additional responsibilities include planning clinical learning experiences, providing clinical
instruction, collaborating with nursing colleagues to ensure the nursing curriculum is current and well developed, academic advising
students, and participating in departmental activities and campus-wide committees. Clinical Faculty are evaluated based on teaching
effectiveness, professional activities, and service to College and students.

Acceptable Minimum

An earned Master's degree in Nursing; a minimum of five years of nursing experience; two years of
teaching experience; recent clinical and/or advanced nursing practice experience in medical-surgical nursing; hold an unencumbered New
Hampshire nurse license or eligibility to obtain an NH RN License; current healthcare provider CPR, and health records titers, and
immunization; the desire to work as part of a team in the department and within the College; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal
communication skills; and a record of collaborative commitment to scholarship, service, and academic excellence required. An offer of
employment will be contingent upon licensure verification, and approval by the New Hampshire State Board of

Salary Information

Salary is in accordance with the prevailing Collective Bargaining
Agreement (CBA). Salary at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor is $63,160 for fall 2022. Salary is complemented by a comprehensive
benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off.
