Position Title: Clinical Compliance Coordinator
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Clinical Compliance:
- Collaborate with the program coordinators to ensure a current clinical affiliation agreement is on file for each clinical site.
- Collect, review, and confirm that all clinical site-specific documentation is completed by students and faculty.
- Review and approve students and faculty health requirements, drug screen, background check, and other documentation for clinical compliance.
- Collaborate with program coordinators to ensure current clinical compliance requirements are communicated to students.
- Utilize various clinical compliance systems efficiently to verify nursing and health professions clinical compliance.
- Work with students to ensure all clinical compliance requirements are met by the established deadline.
- Communicate with students, faculty, and program coordinators on issues of noncompliance.
- Attend nursing and health professions group advising sessions each semester to communicate compliance requirements and due dates.
- Collaborate with program coordinators on securing clinical placements as needed.
- Submit rosters and other required documentation to clinical sites as needed.
- Collaborate with program coordinators and clinical sites to ensure that changes in requirements are communicated to students and faculty.
- Work with program coordinators and faculty to arrange clinical site orientation activities.
- Review and negotiate student clinical placements with sites.
- Assists with Missouri State Board of Nursing and accreditation reports.
- Performs other similar duties as requesting.
- Initiate and maintain current affiliation agreements with all clinical partners.
- Ensure Professional Liability Insurance for faculty and students is current to meet affiliation agreement requirements.
- Distribute copies of Professional Liability Coverage to clinical partners as required and/or requested.
- Maintain database of all clinical contact information and details.
- Office principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other general office programs and equipment.
