Job Summary: Coach current CNA students in preparation for the UNAR CNA exam.Pay range: $17.80 – $19.74 per hour

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Follows SLTC guidelines for working with students2. Keeps accurate records on site.3. Help CNA students practice their skills.4. Perform other related duties as requested by Program Coordinator and Instructors.
5. Completes all required trainings.
6. Demonstrates and supports professional commitment to division, school, and college mission and values.
7. Follows SLCC policies and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued:

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the Utah Nursing Assistant Registry.2. Will need background check.

Preferred Qualifications: 1. Bilingual in Spanish.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge and understanding of Certified Nursing skills per UNAR guidelines.Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College. Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
