The State University of New York at Canton invites qualified applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position in the Nursing Department
to begin August 2022. The Department of Nursing has a practical nursing certificate program, an AAS nursing program, an RN-BS
online program and a dual-degree program (AAS/BS). All of these programs are ACEN accredited. This is an on-campus position.

Responsibilities: Conduct didactic and clinical instruction; plan and participate in program, department, college and
university activities; prepare instructional and learning guides for courses; evaluate students' comprehension of didactic and
clinical instruction using criterion referenced methods of evaluation; participate in curriculum development and revision; maintain clinical
expertise; participate in scholarly activity, university and community service. Voluntary summer or winter contracts may be available.
Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship.

Master's degree in nursing, or currently enrolled in a Master's Degree in Nursing program.

Eligible for and licensed as a registered nurse in New York State

Minimum of two years nursing experience, preferably within the
past five years

Preferred Qualifications: A terminal degree in nursing or related field from a regionally accredited

Prior college level teaching experience in either the face-to-face or online environment

Expertise in fundamentals
of nursing, mental health or maternal newborn nursing, pharmacology ad medical surgical nursing
