Tenure Track Position

The Department of Nursing at Dutchess Community College invites applications for a faculty position in Nursing with start date of Fall 2022 semester.. The initial review of completed applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.

This is an opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals where you'll inspire motivated students to realize their educational and career goals.

The position involves teaching a variety of nursing courses with an emphasis on high impact teaching practices, which will include both classroom and clinical instruction in an integrated nursing curriculum. The use of online platforms for delivering content, exams, and simulated lab experiences is part of the nursing program. Teaching assignments may include medical-surgical, psychiatric, maternal child health, and long-term care topics. Scheduling may involve evening assignments and clinical courses may not be limited to the immediate Poughkeepsie area.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $69,653 – $82,172and is commensurate with degree level and experience. DCC offers a competitive benefits package, This generous package includes medical, dental and vision, retirement options, paid leave, group life insurance and employee assistance programs.
