POSITION: Part-Time Clinical Instructor – Medical Surgical or Psychiatric NursingSCHEDULE: Current Schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday's 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Prepare clinical assignments prior to clinical learning experience
- Instruct and Supervise nursing students in the clinical setting
- Instruct and Supervise nursing students with virtual clinical simulation to support the achievement of student learner outcomes when clinical agency is unavailable
- Evaluate student learning assignments and provide constructive feedback
- Complete formative and summative student evaluations
- Communicate with Course Team Leader on a weekly basis regarding student issues
- Perform other duties associated with the position.
NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.
- MA Registered nurse license in good standing.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Possesses a minimum of two (2) years full-time experience in nursing, or its equivalent, within the last five (5) years
- Evidence of competence in clinical area of Medical Surgical Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
- BLS Health Provider Level certification from AHA
- Candidate must clear a 10-panel urine drug screen per clinical placement policy as a condition of employment.
- Master's degree in Nursing or enrolled in an MSN program
- Previous clinical teaching experience
- Experience with the use of patient simulation and technology
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with and supporting a culturally diverse population

SALARY: $66/hour, Non-benefited position
